Our door building process is not limited to simply following industry standards. Rather, we pride ourselves on our ability to create any kind of door you might need. From an 1 1/8 inch thick paneled door, to a 12 inch thick behemoth, we can handle your project with skill and craftsmanship. Our standard door thicknesses are 1 3/8", 1 7/8", 2 1/8", 2 3/8", 2 3/4", 3 3/4", 4 1/4", and 4 3/4". "Custom" is the name of our game.
We also offer molding of various types to picture frame the panels, and louvers, both moveable and solid.

A key feature of all of our door is our laminating process. Each door part is made of multiple layers of hardwood. This insures that the door remains absolutely flat. Our application of thick hardwood veneers on each part allows us to build your door from even the most exotic of hardwoods. We can also put different species of wood on opposite sides of the door and, for decades to come, it will remain as straight and true as the day we produced it.
Oversized doors can be a challenge to build. Wood joinery can go just so far. Our answer to a critical issue of door building is to reinforce the 4 main corner joints with a 1/2 x 8 inch lag bolt, countersunk and torqued down through the center of each joint. The compression that results from the presence of these lag bolt holds the joints tightly together, no matter how hard a door may be used.
Many of the architectural plans that we see call for door tops with arcs of various kinds. We can laminate any door frame header with the necessary bend, complete with moldings, to fit with our arc top doors. In fact, we generally produce the door frames with all of our doors, machined as pre-hung units ready for installation by your crew or ours. And don't forget weatherstripping. Our exterior door units come complete with a set of silicone flipper seals around the sides and top, and a brass interlocking threshold on the bottom that will last forever.
