We build our drawer sides, fronts, and backs of solid hardwood. Typically, we will cut the key parts of the cabinet job out first and collect all of the material that does not meet grade quality for use on the exterior components. Those rippings and drop-offs are glued into panels and recut to size to correspond with the drawer pieces needed. They are then surfaced in a planer to 1/2 inch thickness, sanded and machined. We use a unique interlocking joinery technique to assemble a sturdy, long lasting drawer.
